Are Traditional Nail Salons Going Out Of Business

With the increasing amount of independent nail technicians coming to the scene, it's safe to say that most nail salons are going out of business. Many nail salons have technicians that aren't familiar with new trends and aren't able to fulfill complex requests.

The quaility of the nail application, as well as it's longevity also varies. When it comes to tradional nail salons, the application is a very rushed process due to the desire to take as many clients as possible. Unfortunately, this typically results in poor appearance. The nails are often too thick or too thin and poorly shaped. In regards to longevity, most nail sets don't last beyond two weeks, if that. Unlike with modern technicians, who are experienced, they are able to have nail sets go four weeks and beyond with little to no lifting.
