I often get clients who have never had nail art before and are apprehensive to having it on their nails due to not knowing if whether or not it will last. However, numerous factors come in to play when it comes to longevity of nail art.
The biggest and most important factor is the quality of of the top coat being used. The top coat is not only to keep your nails looking shiny and fresh , but also to acts as a sealant. With the right top coat, your nail art will last 1 month or more, even for one who’s constantly using their hands.
The next factor is how rough one is with their hands and when I say rough, I mean literally rough, girl. Top coat can withstand a lot and if it chips and begins to peel, the protective coat over your nail art is no longer there. As a result, it will then leave your nail art subject to chipping.
The third factor that can cause nail art is having your hands in a lot of chemicals, again causing for your top coat to chip/peel. The solution to that problem would be to wear gloves to protect your hands. Nevertheless, don’t be afraid to spice your nails up with nail art. I promise it’s a game changer and you’ll love your nails even more.
